Visiting Barstow

Open House

An admission open house gives you an overview of everything Barstow offers. You can meet faculty, take a tour, see classroom learning and explore each division and extracurricular offerings. Guided by our division heads, these visits are a perfect entry point into the Barstow community.

Roundups

Roundups are short evaluations for early childhood applicants in preschool prep (age 2 1/2+), preschool, pre-K and kindergarten. Roundups are held on weekdays for preschool prep applicants and parents. For preschool, pre-K and kindergarten, roundups are typically held on a Saturday in early February. Please call the admissions office at 816-277-0301 to schedule your child's roundup visit.

School Tour

During your tour, you have one-on-one time with a member of our admission team so you can ask questions that are focused on finding the right fit for your child. Your tour and personal appointment will last about an hour and are usually scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Shadow Days

Students who have submitted an application to Barstow may shadow a current Barstow student to experience campus life in and outside of the classroom. These visits are scheduled through our admission office.
