Disney's Marlin Visits "Finding Nemo" Cast
A star of "Finding Nemo The Musical" at Walt Disney World visited the lower school musical cast on Thursday, April 11, taking them behind the scenes and under the sea.
Sean Powell portrays Marlin, the overprotective clownfish father searching for his adventurous son, in a live production at Disney World. He also plays Gill, the leader of the Tank Gang where Nemo is taken after being snatched at sea.
Powell appeared via zoom to talk to lower school actors about the production, the colorful cast of characters and a schedule that keeps him swimming all day long: four shows a day, five days a week.
Student were also able to ask Powell questions about how the puppets in the Disney show are made and how they work, and what it's like to be part of an ensemble cast. Powell attended Missouri State University in Springfield.
