Preschool Prep Students Take First Field Trip
Barstow's first class of preschool prep students had one of their first "out of the classroom and into the world" experiences on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
As part of their early exploration of transportation, they toured Barstow's vehicle fleet, from the passenger benches to the driver's seat. Our youngest students were thrilled to board Barstow's big yellow bus and coach. They checked out luggage compartments, wheels, and took turns honking the horns.
Preschool prep is a new classroom in early childhood this year, that serves as a bridge between home and school for children as young as two-and-a-half years old (turning three between Sept. 2 and Dec. 15).
