STUDENTS FACE NEW CHALLENGE IN STATE MATH CONTEST

More than 40 Barstow students accepted the challenge to try a new math contest format on Saturday, march 28. They competed online, instead of in-person,in the Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics state competition.
The middle school team of Paranjay Sharma, Daniel John, Sriram Pattabiraman and Sunny Gandhari placed fourth in the state. Individually, Sharma placed third, Pattabiriman placed eighth and John placed 14th. Congratulations!

Barstow students achieved many personal bests, and several mathletes are moving on to the next round of competition.
