Students discovered more than 30 new clubs that promote service, leadership, community involvement, inclusion and hobbies at the Upper School Clubs & Activities Fair on Friday, Sept. 15.
Upper school students organize interest-based clubs that meet during flex periods throughout the year. Some, like Pretenders, Agathon and Model UN, return year after year, and some are new for 2023-2024.
This year's selection of 32 clubs includes groups based on service (Sevendays at Stow, Environmental Club, Volunteer Club), inclusion (Black Student Union, Muslim Student Union, Jewish Student Union, AAPI Alliance, LatinX), academics (French Club, Robotics, Knowledge Bowl, Engineering Club) and a variety of hobbies and interests (Z-Pop Dance Club, Smash Bros Club, Mahjong Club.)
Along with regular club meetings, each group is required to plan and host one social, service-based or educational event per semester.
