Seniors Begin Journey Toward Commencement
The Barstow School Class of 2025 celebrated Senior Day on Monday, Sept. 23.
They gathered in the Senior Circle, grouped by color and costumes for a day of tradition and team-building. They travelled to Leawood City Park, a location they will also visit in May during the Senior Walk from the old Cherry Street campus location to State Line Road.
Throughout the day, students competed on teams in a field day-style type competition. They completed a breakout room puzzle, a chant competition, a scavenger hunt, a tic-tac-toe relay and a three-legged kickball game. They also made an art project for their kindergarten buddies and wrote a letter to themselves that they will open during after completing the Senior Walk on Friday, May 9, their last day as Barstow students. Commencement Weekend is May 16-19, 2025.
