Pre-Theatre Dinner - Fundraiser for Fringe Festival
The Barstow School Alumni Board asks for your support to help send the Barstow Theatre Department to Edinburgh, Scotland.
Please join us Thursday, March 4, 2010 before the Upper School musical, Curtains for a Pre-Theatre Dinner catered by Jasper’s restaurant.
5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Dinner in Barstow’s Lower School South Pod
7:00 p.m. Curtains in the Raymond B. White Auditorium
Tickets are $40 including dinner and the show.
The Barstow Theatre Department has been selected to perform at the prestigious American High School Theatre Festival as part of the annual Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland in August. They will be performing a children’s musical – Not Just for the Birds:A History of Human Flight by Kansas City playwright Ry Kincaid. Parents of participating students will cover half the costs of the trip and Barstow is raising funds to cover the remainder.
If you cannot attend, we would greatly appreciate your contribution to Barstow Goes to the Fringe Festival. Gifts of any amount would be appreciated and would be a great help to this project. A contribution of $3,000 would fund the school’s portion for one student to attend. You may register online or send a check or credit card information to the Development Office.
or You may mail your check or credit card information to: The Barstow School Development Office 11511 State Line Road Kansas City, MO 64114
