EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
A bachelor's degree or higher.
Proficiency with technology, particularly the Google Suite and educational learning management software.
Excellent organizational skills, combined with highly effective written and verbal communication skills with a variety of stakeholders, emphasizing confidentially.
Familiarity with, and passion for, working with young children.
An exemplary sense of professionalism.
Experience with planning and executing community events.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This position assists in the overall successful operation of Barstow’s Early Childhood and Lower School divisions in a variety of capacities:
Providing the first line of contact with families regarding school absences, early dismissal and late arrival, and overseeing daily attendance.
Assisting in the organization and execution of division specific events, including field trips, concerts, parent information sessions, etc.
Working closely with the Directors of Early Childhood and Lower School to organize their daily schedules and meetings, with faculty, parents and other school personnel.
Assisting in the summer operations of scheduling, purchasing and preparing for the school’s opening each August.
Assisting in all aspects of early childhood and lower school division work in conjunction with both division directors.
