Middle School Debate Takes Awards at University Academy
The middle school debate team won four awards at the University Academy tournament on Thursday, Dec. 5.
To earn an award, students must place in the top five of their competition room by earning the most nominations from the judges. In addition to the award winners, five Barstow students received nominations and narrowly missed taking home a trophy. Eighteen Barstow students competed in the tournament, the team's largest entry this season.
