Debate Wins Awards at Lee's Summit
The upper school debate team won two awards at the February Frenzie Speech and Debate Tournament Feb. 7-8 at Lee's Summit High School.
Brandon Willson and AliAkbar Khumri, freshmen, won fourth place in policy debate. Leo Karaichev, sophomore, and Dylan Freiden, freshman, earned seventh. Radvin Shahbazian, freshman, competed in Lincoln Douglas Debate for the first time and finished with a 3-2 record. All debate divisions included first and second-year debaters.
