FIRST Robotics Team 1939 made an exciting run toward the title at the Central Missouri Regional March 5-8.
Thirty-six midwest high school robotics teams participated in the competition hosted by Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri. Teams formed alliances and competed in games and challenges with their robots in a series of elimination rounds. Team 1939, along with alliance partners Team 1710 from Olathe, Kansas and Team 4646 from Polk City, Iowa, made an impressive showing before finally being eliminated in the playoff round. Friends and family were able to watch via livestream.
Team 1939 will compete in the Oklahoma Regional competition from April 2-5, along with 48 other teams. See their instagram to follow their progress throughout the rest of the season.
