Boys Golf Starts Strong Spring Season
The boys golf team has been busy throughout the spring season, with strong showings in several tournaments.
Seniors David and Jackson Williams competed in back to back weeks at the Shawnee Mission East Invitational at Mission Hills Country Club on Monday, March 31, followed by the Blue Valley/Blue Valley Northwest Invitational at Lionsgate on Monday, April 7. Both tournaments offered the most competitive fields in the region. David Williams earned a T52 finish at the Shawnee Mission East Invitational with a score of 82.
Five members of the team competed in the Clinton Golf Tournament on Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8. Results were as follows:
Eli Zeldin, senior: 185 (93-92)
Elliott Osman, junior: 196 (99-97)
Joel Siegel, senior: 201 (102-99)
Daniel Wang, senior: 203 (106-97)
Rex Parker, sophomore: 241 (125-116)
