Lower School Artists Make Their (Book)Mark

Congratulations to early childhood and lower school students who created the winning bookmarks for the Rainy Day Book Fair.
The book fair opens Monday, Feb. 24 and runs through Friday, Feb. 28 in the Lower School Media Center. Hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. with a special Opening Night on Monday from 3-6 p.m. The evening features a meet and greet with local authors Alastair Heim and Charlie Mylie. Details are available here.

Students are encouraged to dress for the theme, “Reading is My Superpower," each day.  
  • Monday: Dress as your favorite superhero.
  • Tuesday: Crazy hair day.
  • Wednesday: Dress like your teacher.
  • Thursday: Crazy sock Day.
  • Friday: Colors of the rainbow.
Early Childhood and lower school students designed bookmarks for the fair, with one design from each grade selected to be produced and distributed during the event. Congratulations to our winners!
