Kuhknights Gear Up for FIRST Robotics Competition
Robotics team FRC1939, otherwise known as the Kuhknights, is competing in the FIRST Robotics Central Missouri Regional in Sedalia this weekend, with events on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8. The Kuhknights are one of 36 participating teams from high schools around the midwest.
Members of the robotics team have spent the season so far building a robot that can complete the tasks required for various games and challenges during the competition. Students who have previous experience with robotics have focused this season on sharing their knowledge and excitement with new members, which make up about 60% of the team. Even with the added challenge of snow days, the team and robot are competition-ready.
