New Venture Brewing in Hall of Champions

Need a morning pick me up? Middle and upper school students can visit “A Cup of Stow” in the Hall of Champions most weekday mornings for a beverage and a breakfast snack.

Staffed by upper school student volunteers, the coffee shop in the former concession stand space is open Tuesday-Friday, 7:45-8 a.m. and Wednesday-Friday, 9:50-10:10 a.m. Besides coffee, stuents in grades 8-12, faculty and staff can purchase bottled water, Gatorade, cereal and snacks. The shop accepts Apple Pay or swipe a card to pay.

Dean of Students David Muhammad has been working with a group of interested student entrepreneurs for several months to open the coffee shop. The volunteers are making plans for expanded offerings, hours and marketing ideas as they hone entrepreneurship skills and build school community.
